"Because he could be a total creep."
"He's not! Ask Kari! Kari!!!!!"

Kasumi finally sighed. "Fine. One date. ONE. O-N-E."
Tai wrapped Kasumi in what seemed to be a glomp, but was really a bear hug."Thank you! You are my favoritest cousin ever!"
"I'm your only cousin, ever."
"That too."
"So when is it?"
"7:00 today."
"Today?! I just got here!"
"Yeah...And your point being?"
15 hours!!! Of planes!!!"
Tai blinked. Kasumi sighed. "Nevermind."

"Is my hair okay?" I asked...Again. I checked my reflection, applying some lip gloss. Strawberry flavored of course.
"It's perfect." Kari smiled. "You should have worn the purple dress though, it would match your eyes...."
"Kari, I don't like the color purple, not to mention I don't even like dresses. I like pants. Shorts, skirts, but definitely not dresses."
"Yeah I know..."
"Oh Kari, don't sound so depressed~!"
"I did not sound depressed."
"Yes you did."
"Well I didn't mean to sound depressed. I'm really not. Anyways, hurry up, it's 6:30."
"Great. Just great."
"Don't worry Kasumi, Matt's a pretty nice guy." Kari assured me. I raised a eyebrow. "He is. Now hurry up, you wouldn't want to give a bad impression on your first date."
"I could care less." I said as I walked out the door.
"Have fun!" Kari and Tai called from behind me.
