CHS Stallions

Pasture grounds are like delicate artistic tapestries, portraying the elegance of classic arabian breedings. Coats shimmering hue's of chestnut, grey, black and bay, in an aesthetic blend.Located on 2,500 plush acres in the peaceful outskirts of Miles City, Montana. Our facilities currently include,but are not limited to as we are always expanding as need be:

  • Spacious Stabling Areas including Two Stallion Barns, Two Gelding Barns, Two Trainee Barns, and Two Youngstock Barns. Stables equipped with fifty stalls each to accomadate all horses within the farm when the need arises for coming in.
  • State of the art foaling facilities with spacious 14 x 16 stalls, free of any hazardous items. Lime laid and disinfected between every foaling. Layer of wheat straw bedding is applied for the benefit of both mare and foal.
  • Full service Equine Reproduction Facility including Embryo Transfer Technology, Artificial Insemination, Natural Breeding Sheds, Reproductive Evaluations, Semen Collection and Shipping (Cooled, Fresh, Frozen), Stallion Training. Licensed veterinarian on the grounds,available from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
  • Show and Workout facilities including 215 x 100 Regular Indoor Arena, 150 x 50 RegularOutdoor Event Arena, 200 x 100 Sand Base Indoor Arena, 150 x 50 Sand Base Outdoor Event Arena. Seating included for both arenas for the purpose of events and visitors. Guest barn at the East quarters provide stalls for up to 45 equines owned by participating guests.

    • The facilities and acreage may seem to some extreme for one single farm raising arabians, raising the question, why? Glad you asked. The reason behind this is that it is not just one program nor one person's work. It is in fact a group project with four simmers whose goals are to produce some of the best Arabian show and breeding stock. Different divisions are represented each having its own line base and discipline goal. BLS Division focuses on Straight Egyptian Stock bred for Halter and English Pleasure performance, SRF Division focuses on Domestic and Egyptian Stock based on English events, EA Division places its focus on training Western event horses despite the bloodline mark, CSR Division places it emphasis upon Halter horses, and last but never the least CFS division which breeds for Western and English typed Straight Egyptians.
