It was a clear night sky in Tomoeda, everything was peaceful. But is it really such a beautiful night in the Kinomoto residence? Everyone in the house was asleep, or is it?
Sakura, a 16-year-old girl with auburn hair sat up in bed. Her eyelids rose, and revealed her beautiful emerald green eyes. She stared at her clock, it was 3:00 in the morning.
�3 AM already?� thought Sakura as she sighed quietly and got out of bed.
She tiptoed silently across the room to her desk. On the desk, laid a book that had her name on it. She slowly picked it up, and ran her fingers across it as if she�ll never have another chance to touch it.
**Flash back**
�Sakura�I have to tell you something� said a boy sadly.
He had chestnut coloured hair and amber eyes. Sakura�s head was leaning on his shoulder, his hand was on her shoulder. She looked up, her eyes met his.
�What is it Syaoran?� asked Sakura.
�I�� started the boy which Sakura calls Syaoran. �I have to go back to Hong Kong�
�Why?� Sakura asked again, this time, she had a worried look on her face.
�I have some business to do� answered Syaoran. �But I promise you Sakura�when I�m finish what I have to do there, I�ll come back�
�Don�t leave me� said Sakura quietly, tears were in her eyes.
�I�ll come back Sakura, I�ll come back� said Syaoran, trying to comfort her.
**End flash back**
�Syaoran said he�d come back, he promised!� thought Sakura. �But it�s been 4 years and he still didn�t come back�
She looked into one of her drore, and saw that Kero-Chan; a yellow creature with wings wasn�t there.
�Where�s Kero-Chan? Oh yeah�he�s at Tomoyo�s house since she offered cake� thought Sakura as she turned towards her bed. �I better get some sleep�
So she got in bed and tried to sleep.
It was a bright Sunday, and it was almost noon. Sakura is still asleep, until the phone rang. She tossed and turned; hoping that someone would answer it.
�Dad! Touya! Could either one of you answer the phone!� shouted Sakura as she took her pillow and covered her ears.
Suddenly, the phone stopped ringing. So she tried to get back to sleep. But the phone started to ring again; this time Sakura got up, and went downstairs to answer the phone.
�For goodness sakes, I need my beauty sleep!� mumbled Sakura.
�Hello, Sakura speaking� started Sakura, her voice sounded very tired.
�Sakura? Did I wake you up?� questioned the girl on the other end of the phone.
�Huh? Oh! Hi Tomoyo! Well�yes you did wake me up� answered Sakura, trying to sound more cheerful.
�Do you realize what time is it? It�s almost 12:30 missy,� said the girl, which Sakura calls Tomoyo. �Well anyway I�m dropping off Kero-Chan soon. Oh! Chiharu, Naoko, Rika and I planned to go to the mall today, so do you want to come?�
�That sounds great! I have nothing to do today so mine as well do some shopping� exclaimed Sakura.
�Well okay see you soon!� said Tomoyo as she hung up.
Sakura hung up the phone as well; she looked around and saw a note on the dinning table. She picked it up and read: Sakura,
I have to go to work today to do some research, so I won�t be home. Touya has gone to his soccer practice, so that leaves you home alone today. I�m sorry, but I am very busy and so is Touya! There�s some food in the refrigerator, just heat it up in the microwave if you�re hungry.

�At least I get to go to the mall today, so I won�t be staying home�but what about Kero-Chan? Oh well�I get the food ready for him just in case he�s hungry� thought Sakura.
So she walked towards the refrigerator, and took out a plate of food. She heated it in the microwave and left it on the table. The doorbell rang and Sakura quickly ran to the door to open it.
When she opened the door, there was a girl with long dark hair and with gorgeous blue eyes.
�Oh! Tomoyo! Hi!� exclaimed Sakura happily.
�Hi Sakura, so are you ready to shop?� asked Tomoyo.
�Well no, I�ll get ready right now! Er�where�s Kero-Chan?� asked Sakura.
Tomoyo turned around, her backpack facing Sakura. All of a sudden, a yellow creature with wings popped out.
�Hi Sakura-Chan! Did you miss me?� asked the creature which they called him Kero-Chan.
�Sort of�well anyway I left some food on the table so if you�re hungry just come down and eat. Dad and Touya are out so it�s safe� explained Sakura as she quickly got him out of the bag and let him go as he flew across the corridor.
�I�ll wait outside� started Tomoyo.
�No, you don�t have to! Here! Come in!� exclaimed Sakura as she let Tomoyo in. �Make yourself at home, I�ll go upstairs to get myself ready�
Sakura ran upstairs and into her room.
�Hhmm�what should I wear?� wondered Sakura as she looked carefully in her closet. �Ah! Here�s one!�
She took out a white tank top and Magenta pink skirt. She quickly ran in to the washroom, brushed her teeth, washed her face and combed her hair. She stopped for a moment; she looked into the mirror and sighed.
�I wonder how does Syaoran look like now,� thought Sakura as she quickly added a little pink clip on the right side of her hair.
She smiled weakly and ran back to her room. Sakura dressed herself, and looked into the mirror once again.
�Why do I feel like something is missing?� thought Sakura. �Snap out of it! Tomoyo is waiting downstairs!�
She quickly took her wallet, put it in her pocket, and ran downstairs and into the living room.
�Here I am!� exclaimed Sakura as she made a quick spin to show off her out fit a bit.
�Good choice, you look really nice in it� complimented Tomoyo.
�Why thank you, come on, let�s get going� suggested Sakura as they headed out the door.
At the front of the door, was a black limousine, Tomoyo smiled at her.
�Are we going to ride in that?� asked Sakura.
�Yup�we are� answered Tomoyo. �We�re going to make a few stops to pick up the others�
�No problem� said Sakura as they entered the black limousine.
�So�� started Tomoyo. �What are you going to wear to the school dance next month?�
�Next month? That�s not in a long while so I have no idea� replied Sakura.
�Actually�it�s 2 weeks away from the school dance to be precise� informed Tomoyo.
�Yeah, yeah�� mumbled Sakura.
�Well for your information, that is one of the reasons we are going shopping! We�re gonna buy our dresses!� exclaimed Tomoyo. �Oh! Here we are! Hey Chiharu!�
A girl with reddish brown hair in pigtails ran happily towards the black limousine and got in.
�Hey guys!� shouted the girl.
�Hey Chiharu!� exclaimed Tomoyo and Sakura.
One by one they picked up their friends, second was Naoko and last but not least Rika. The driver dropped them off at a huge shopping mall with a theatre beside it. They opened the door to the mall and a cool breeze of air conditioning passed by. They smiled at each other and browsed around.
�Hey! Look! 50% off of those beautiful dresses! Let�s go!� shouted Chiharu excitedly.
The others followed along into a boutique filled with dresses. The girls were amazed at how beautiful the dresses looked. Chiharu, Naoko and Rika looked in the section to the right, Sakura and Tomoyo looked at the section on the left.
�Look what I found! A purple one! Isn�t it pretty?� exclaimed Tomoyo.
She was holding a silky purple dress that had a scarf for the neck.
�I think that looks really nice! Hey look! Here�s a nice pink one!� said Sakura.
She was holding a silky bubble gum pink dress with a scarf-like shoulder part.
�I think that would fit you perfectly!� complimented Tomoyo. �Why don�t you try it on? Don�t look at me like that! I�m trying mine on too!�
Sakura smiled and went into the dressing room. It turns out that they all found a dress they liked and bought them. They had such a fun day that they felt really exhausted when they finished. Tomoyo gave them all a ride home and that concludes to that day.
The next morning, Sakura was up early. Kero-Chan was still sleeping. She decided to let him sleep in, so she quietly walked to the washroom to get herself ready. She stared in the mirror; the mirror reflected a girl that seems very sad. Though nothing was wrong, so why is she sad?
�I wish Syaoran is here,� thought Sakura as she sighed and started her daily routine.
�Bye dad! I�m going to be late for school!� shouted Sakura as she headed out the door.
She saw Touya riding his bike in the distance, Sakura didn�t feel like catching up today. So she just roller bladed the speed she wanted. Sakura was so gloomy today that she didn�t even see the person in front of her. CRASH! She bumped into a guy with short black hair and blue eyes with glasses.
�You should be careful where you�re going Sakura, honestly!� started the guy.
�Sorry Eriol, I�was just�thinking of something� excused Sakura.
�It�s a good thing for you that I�m not your worst enemy or else you probably won�t stand a chance!� insulted the guy, which Sakura calls Eriol.
�Ugh! I said sorry Eriol! You don�t have to be so rude!� shouted Sakura.
She got her hand up; she was ready to slap him. When suddenly Tomoyo came by.
�What are you doing Sakura?� asked Tomoyo.
Sakura didn�t reply she was ready to slap Eriol when all of a sudden; someone was holding her back. The person that was holding her from slapping Eriol had a strong grip.
�Let me go Tomoyo! Let me go! I said�� shouted Sakura.
�I�m not Tomoyo Sakura� interrupted the voice behind Sakura.
�Huh?� asked Sakura in confusion.
She turned around, and saw�����

Well what d'ya think? Wondering who is it? Well you have to wait for the second chapter to come out! I don't have so much time to write so it might be in a long while! Hopefully I'll get it done.
