Chapter 4
"Well done son," a cold voice said. "But what happened???" Syaoran stared at the black ground.
"The flames were trying to get me, they burnd my wing," Li stamered.
"Ohhhhhhh, Boo hoo, did poor ikle Li burn his wingy??" Yelan said sarcasticly.
"I'm sorry mother," Li stamered. He bit his lip to stop a few tears. Something in side him was screaming at him to stop this, stop the fighting. The angels donn't deserv it and nither do you. He ignored his iner voice, never could he dissobay his mother, she'd kill him.
"Make sure it never happens again!" and Yelan was gone from his dreamless sleep.
"Li," Sakura screamed as she watched Li fall. She cought him but he was a dead weight and her brother had to help carry him home. Lets just say Torri was not a happy camper. They recived funny looks from there people, but none dared question the prince and princess of there kingdome. And they all wilted under the death glare Sakura shot at them. They managed to carry Li into the palace and take him to one of the many spare rooms.
"Call DR.Mcenzie(Can't spell her name)," Sakura ordered her brother. Then her mother and father came in to see sakura, Sakuras mom was shoked to see the sleeping devil, Sakuras father how ever was trying very hard to hide a secret smile. They fussed over Sakura and asked if she was ok.
Lyla(Kaho [I think]) came from the roomlooking uneasy.
"He'll be ok," she muttered, not looking any of them in the eye. She left quickly. Sakura entered the room to see Li still asleep. His wing was in a kind of sling and he was now sleeping peacefully. Dr.Mcanzie had done a good job. She was a great doctor but it had taken a lot to purswade her to treat Li. Sakura held his hand tight.
"I know you'r not like the rest of them," she wisphered in his ear.
"Sakura are you....." Tomoyo stopped short. She stared at Li and stayed in the door way. She looked frightened and thought that the devil would rise and second and kill her.
"He won't hurt you," Sakura said not looking away from Li. Tomoyo looked unsure but came and sat by her friend anyway.
Tomoyo had left by now. Still Li was not awake. Sakura was about to go to her own room when she heard a slight movement and a soft mone from the bed. She ran over and found that Li was almost awake.
When Li opened his eyes he saw the most beautiful angel he had ever seen. She smiled at him.
"You'r awake," she said, but her voice sounded far of and dreamy. He blinked a few times but could not wake proporly. He was drugged up on pain killers.
"You need you'r sleep now. I shall go and return in the morning to see you." and the angel was gone. Li fel back on the bed and closed his eyes. His head hurt and he felt numb all over. He was soon asleep.
"Morning," a cheery voice woke him. He opened his eyes reluctantly. Sakura was standing over him, in her hands was a tray briming with goodies, " here."
She handed him the tray.
"Thanks," he said and ate hungrily. He saw Sakura still standing there.
"What are you waiting for, a tip????" Li said rather coldly. Sakura looked hurt and Li felt ashamed of hiself.
"Sorry, I'll go now," Sakura said. Li was about to say sorry but his pride and traing wouldn't let him.
Outside Sakura let a tear fall.
"Hes just a bit crancy after wakeing up with a burnt wing." she said to her self.
"SYAORAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!" a voice boomed. Li almpst dropped his food all over him. He pulled the locket out from under his shirt.
"WHAT!!!!!!" he yealled at it.
"What are you playing at Syaoran," Yelan said, " youv'e been up there all night and what have you done? NOTHING!!!" Li was mad and for the first time in ages he was about to argue with his mom.
"Just give me a brake!!!! I'm injured so I can't fly for a few days. There are probaly gaurds outside the door and they don't all trust me yet!!!" he tucket the locxket back under his shirt and ignored his motheres angry crys.
