I am in the middle of creating issue 1 (and trying to juggle it with my schoolwork) and I am about halfway there. I was even further, but decided to scrap it cos i felt that it was going nowhere, and start again. It was to consist of various articles about random stuff, but it was majorly crap so i started again and it is now based on one theme: radical menstruation.

Molly the dolly, for you sad individuals who do not know, is, well, for want of a better word, the mascot, i guess, of Drowning Dolly Day, even though I dont like using that word cos it reminds me of people dressed up as roosters and dancing around football pitches. The trademark? Oh, I dont know, but she's cool anyway and she has her own comic strip, imaginatively titled Molly the Dolly. Molly is the drummer in a band called "Les Chou-fleurs" (which, for you un-cultured people, means "The Cauliflowers" in French). Her fellow band mates are Polly the dolly on lead guitar and backing vocals, and Holly the dolly on bass and lead vocals. They are the coolest band ever and totally whip the asses of any patriarchal scum that gets in their way. And of course they live in a little dolly world pretty much devoid of human beings.
I have yet to decide what they will get up to, or if they will even feature at all, in issue 1. As always I will keep you posted.
