About New Zealand......
weather Totally beyond expectation. It was so cold~~Average between 13-23°C.......
NZ summer is just as cold as winter in HK,
And raining all the day really annoyed our mood
nature pictureque. Another good example of God's wonderful creations
just learnt that one of the beautiful flowers around the hillside is called LUPIN
people frindly but pure, approached by them several times for any help!
English seems not so influenced by Aussie English......

About Australia......

weather A bit cool but acceptable,
the last day was the best, 27°C at noon time
nature just wonder why there're so many flies
people being scolded by somebody once around the pub, but overall, people are nice.
And quite surprise to see so many Asian/ Chinese in the city!
English so glad that C could understood most

Along the trip......

bookings Prior to the trip, Q had booked all the possible accomodation in HK by hostelworld.com.
For the transport pass, due to limited time of our trip, we didn't buy any.

Actually this is my first time to do preparation like this.......you can say it's not flexible but ok for us so far during the trip, even there's no discount when booked online.
In my own view, when planning a trip and thinking about online booking is necessary or not, consider your destination+ transportation. From my previous experience travelling in E. Europe, there would be some homestay/ guesthouse owner gather around the bus/ train stations for travellers who get off there. So, it really depends!
withdrawal Because of something important Q gotta back to HK then returned NZ again,
during these few days C been to Wellington & Napier.
being alone on the trip Frankly speaking, it's quite a fruitful experience due to good weahter, funny stuff and good accomodations [so ironic!]. the feeling was quite good,
It's so feel to do what I want, to meet various people, especially when the cities were so lovely~~
Indeed, Wellington + Napier were my favourite places during the trip~~
Wellington@ NZ Capital of New Zealand.
Compare with Auckland, Wellington is more historic(?), artistic with less visitors, I loved the environment
Napier@ NZ An small Art Deco City in North Island as well.
The harsh earthquake in 1931 brought life to the city.......rebuilt with Art Deco style buildings, the city is a brilliant story, I love here
Adelaide@ AU The city where my elder brother studying, from his discription Adelaide is a small and countryside city.
But turnout we find that, Adelaide is quite a cosmopolitan: sky scrapper in CBD, well developed transportation system, historic huge buildings everywhere, as well as endless night life.....
Our family enjoyed a great gathering here, missing our good times.......
pictureque scenary Amazing/ awesome/ wonderful/ Thanks God and nothing to say
working visa Discovered quite a lot of people applied yearly working visa, just wonder if I can also???
change of flight Including domestic + transit flights, C had took 8 planes, 7 of them were Qantas and 1 was Air NZ. Just feeling a bit crazy
expenditure compare with my usual travel destination: E. Europe, Australia & NZ are so expensive......
chocolate factory So glad to visit the chocolate factory even not so many could be seen was expected..
But, during the beginning trip, C watched the original 1971 black & white movie "Willy & the chocolate factory"~~
family gathering Thanks God for letting C's family gather again in Adelaide, just hope that God will still be with us all along......
