dear 78ers,
at long last, I have gotten a new computer!!! I am finally joining you guys into the 21st century!!! It's going to be great to be able to keep up with the current happenings about the rest of our classmates.
I've read dang's news and Alma's at Art's website and I must tell you that I had a great time when I was doing that.
I have learned about Peng's situation and sent her several messages already. I admire her courage and with God's help, I am certain that she will get through this. I am so excited to see her and you guys on our 25th reunion!
Marlene, thanks for giving Alma my number; your effort was very much appreciated.
Alms, I had a great time in San Diego and thanks for setting it up.
Art, thanks for accomodating us in your house. Dolly was very pleasant and hospitable. Abeng and Abbhet seemed not to age a bit because they are still the same-makukulit! Poor Alma was always the butt of their jokes. I am sure she was relieved when I arrived and the rest of the group- Yhing and Elaine. We couldn't stop laughing, yakking and singing the whole day! Bob and his wife Caroy came with their brood and it was fun to see them. Bob and Yhing hogged the mike when we were singing
karaoke but they were very entertaining. We couldn't convince Abeng and Elaine to sing no matter what we did. Alms finally sang at the end of the night and then we called it a night. It was hard to part the next day because I knew that we wouldn't see each other for a long time.
I was not too sad though because I had all your email addresses from Alma and I know for sure that from that reunion, it was a start of getting reacquainted with you guys again and a start of getting closer with you again just like high school days. Seems like I can't stop typing because I am too excited but my husband reminded me that there is still tomorrow and I can still send you guys more email. So till next time, gang!!! Miss you all!!!
