1. It is a general requirement enrolling children in Cherish Christian Academy must agree to their children being taught according to our Statement of Faith as set forth in this handbook and the application packet.
2. Admission to Kindergarten is based on the age and the maturity of the child. Children that are 5 later than the normal start date may qualify for Kindergarten based on maturity and academic readiness. We also provide Transitional Kindergarten three days a week to prepare your child for school. A copy of the child�s birth certificate must be attached to the application for verification of age.
3. All applicants must show documented proof of immunization before acceptance can be granted. If the child has insurance, a copy of this can be attached as well for safety purposes. A copy of immunization record and proof of insurance can be attached to the application.
4. A $65.00/family application fee is payable with the application for admission for new applicants and a $45.00/family fee for re-enrollments. A $10.00 discount is applied to anyone paying the fee by June 1st. These fees are nonrefundable and must be paid before your child is considered enrolled.
5. Enrolled students are expected to maintain behavior that is consistent with the goals and objectives of Cherish Christian Academy and will be dismissed should it become apparent that the student, and family, does not share this ideal. Tuition will be required for the full month should this situation arise.
6. Cherish Christian Academy admits students of any race, sex, ethnic, or national origin.
7. The handbook has been received, read and signed to state that the parties involved agree to observe all the requirements described therein.
8. The importance of parental participation in class/school activities has been recognized and participation is agreed upon.
9. The registration process begins when all of the materials are received and is completed when all of the materials needed, including the application fee, are returned to the office and recorded.
10. Once enrolled, each child is on a 9 week probationary period in order to secure the values set forth by Cherish Christian Academy.
Any disputable matter will be settled according to scripture. Matthew 18:15-20 instructs on the model in which all disputes will be settled. Cherish Christian Academy will do its very best to handle situations in a Biblical way. By signing this, you are agreeing to work with Cherish Christian Academy to promote a Godly environment that fosters lives built upon the words of the Heavenly Father.
