Day 6

Today was our last day here in Estes, we always hate to leave every time we come here but I guess all good things must come to an end.  Today we tried to make the trip over the mountain again but the road was still closed so the moose and the top of the hill will have to wait till next time for us.  The weather could not have been more perfect, the sky was clear and the temperatures was perfect for a light jacket.   We spent part of our time exploring areas we had not been to before or at least not in a long time,  we ran into a heard of deer that were as surprised to see us as we were to see them.  We also found a bull elk having a snack on the edge of the road.  Other than those major events we ended our day by going to our favorite steak place for dinner.  Now its time to load up and head toward Missouri and home.

For our friend and family who travel with us through this page, we have enjoyed our trip this year even though its at a much slower and less adventure some pace than we usually take.  We were glad to leave our troubles behind and focus on new beginnings.
