Size 7 crochet hook

A Chubby Cluster: (basically equals a "dtr, dc, dtr" cluster)
Chain 7 (The first chain will not be counted as part of the cluster. This chain 7 equals a chain one and a dtr.)
YO, insert hook in 6th chain from hook, YO, pull loop through chain, YO, work off 2 loops together, once (there should be 2 loops remaining on hook);
YO 3 times, insert hook in same 6th chain from hook, YO, pull loop through chain, (YO, work off 2 loops together) three times. There should be 3 loops remaining on the hook. YO and work off all 3 remaining loops together at one time.
Row 1: Work 12 Chubby Clusters (you will have a chain one, then 12 clusters with a chain one between each of them).
Round 1: Chain 1. Turn work 90 degrees, and, working down long side of bookmark: slst over the side of the last dtr just made. Chain 1, sc over side of the same dtr, chain1.
* Over side of NEXT dtr, make:
A: Trc, chain 4, slst in top of trc for picot, (Note: "slst in top of trc" means to make the slst in top/front & the left/side loops of the trc - not the 2 top loops), chain 1,
B: Trc, chain 1,
C: Trc, chain 5, slst in 5th chain from hook for a picot; chain 4, slst in 4th chain from hook for a picot; chain 4, slst in 4th chain from hook for a picot; slst at base of the 1st of the 3 picot group, then slst in top of last trc, chain 1.
D: Trc, chain 4, slst in top of trc for a picot, chain 1,
E: Trc, chain 1. **
Over side of NEXT dtr: One sc, chain 5.
Over side of NEXT dtr: one sc, chain 1, turn.
Work 7 sc over the "chain 5" just completed. Slst in next sc. Chain 5, turn. Skip the first 3 single crochets that are over the chain 5 loop. Sc in next sc, chain 4, slipstitch in top of sc just made (for a picot). Chain 5, skip the next 3 single crochets that are over the same chain 5 loop. Slip stitch in next sc. Chain 1.*
Repeat between * and * 2 times.
Repeat between * and ** once.
Over side of NEXT dtr: One sc.
(Chain 5, slst in 4th chain from hook) twice. Slipstitch in end/top stitch of bookmark. Chain 4, trc in 4th chain from hook; chain 4, slst in top of last trc; chain 4, trc in 4th chain from hook; slipstitch in end/top stitch of bookmark again. Chain 4, slst in 4th chain from hook; chain5, slst in 4th chain from hook, chain 1, sc in side of next dtr on other side of bookmark. (See photo of work in progress, below)
Repeat between * and * 3 times.
Repeat between * and ** once.
Over side of next dtr, make a sc, chain 1, and then slst in end of bookmark.
Chain 33 for a tassel, turn. Skip 2 chains: (3 dc in next chain) 23 times. Leave last 8 chains un-worked. Chain 1, turn. (Sc in next dc, chain 1) down side of curly tassel to the end (ending with a sc). Fasten off, and hide ends of thread in work. I spray starched my bookmark, placed it on an appropriate countertop, shaped it to shape while it was still wet, and left it to dry.
Working down just one side of the Chubby Clusters creates a beautiful edging.
