On February 21st, 2001 Kevin formally proposed to Cherie. Picking Cherie up from a radio interview with "The Fish" 95.9, Kevin took her out to a nice breakfast. After that he took her to the beach where he had first told Cherie that he loved her. He then proposed to her and she said YES! After a while they both called all of their family and told them the news. That evening, Kevin escorted Cherie to the Grammy's, where her group "Avalon" was nominated for an award.
