Internet Friend of Mine

You are my friend and I can safely say

my love for you will not go away.

We used to talk almost every day,

then life got busy and we both went away.

Once in a while, life becomes a breeze

in messenger we meet and we are at ease.

We know this will end as once before

our endless conversations on opposite shores.

We will always be swept away

by the tedious life we have made.

Sending emails we will do,

writing all the information that is new.

We dream to some day meet

maybe a promise we can keep

A friendship made from words upon a screen.
