America We Will Stand

Have you ever stopped to think?

Why you are an American today

a melting pot of people making up the USA

Who are your ancestors?

Why did they come here to stay?

Were they the ones that came on boats,

to start a new life without fear?

Look at the sacrifices they made for you being here.

We are the melting pot for the entire world

For two centuries, we took in other countries castaway pearls

Let us take a stand and be proud of who we are

Let us all take hands, black, white, yellow and tan.

Show the entire world, we are proud to call ourselves Americans

We will do what needs to be done

Fight to the death if that is what it will be

Americans we are, America we will stand

Freedom will always be at our hands

We are proud to be Americans and here we shall stand.
