| After the show the guys came out to meet the audience; Jimmy was the last one out but when he did come out, he came over to say hello to Charmaine and I. At Tim and Faith's concert, he'd told us that Stillwater would probably not be with Garth at the Opry's 75th Birthday Bash but at this tailgate party, he said...you gals are driving down to the Opry right? We told him we'd definitely be there. He seemed so tickled to let us know that Stillwater would be there afterall...in fact, they'd be meeting up down there Thurs.(10/12) to rehearse. He stayed and chatted with us for quite a while. We even chatted a bit about Garth...actually Jimmy brought it up! :) In the photo to the left, Jimmy had just kissed me on the cheek when Charmaine snapped the photo. I'd given him a photo I took of him in Phila.,PA on 9/8/98. Gary had seen it and said, "oh, this is for Jimmy huh"?[as if to say, "you didn't bring us anything :(] When it was time for him to leave, he told us he'd see us at the Opry and to drive carefully. BTW, Rascal Flatts are really nice guys too! |
