It's 2005. 40 years ago, Cher experimented her first success in the musical world with her first big hit in duet with Sonny Bono,
I Got You Babe, which tuned a day of  July in 1965, becoming an international hit , and also with her first solo hit,
All I Really Want To Do, during the same summer.
The french fans want to clebrate this anniversary by paying tribute to the dance floors Queen. Let's party !!

As its  older sister, the American Cher Convention wich premiered in 2000, the french oraganizers of the French CHER CONVENTION will fully transfered the money raised during the event to the CCA Kids.
The Children Cranofacial Association is a nonprofit organization, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with facial differences and their families.  Nationally and internationally, CCA addresses the medical, financial, psychosocial, emotional, and educational concerns relating to craniofacial conditions.
CCA's mission is to empower and give hope to facially disfigured children and their families.

This year is the 15 th anniversary of Cher's official involvement in the organization. 

For the first time, an event celebrating Cher's 40 years of success takes place in France
on July, 9th 2005 at the Club Med World in Paris (Bercy).
From the fans, to the fans
The event will be hold in two parts:

* Convention : starts at 2 pm (limited number of seats)

The event will begin with video projections of rare material :

> Cher Show : the variety show that Cher hosted during 1975 et 1976 with guest stars as Bette Midler, Elton John,
David Bowie, Ray Charles and Tina Turner !
> American and european TV interviews with  promotionnal live performances
> Ceremonies (Academy Awards ...)
> Video clips not available in shops
"And other geat things !"
But also auctions: all the money raised  will be given to the CCA. Cher is the spoke person of this association which try to offer a better life to children with craniofacial diseases and their famillies (for further informations, visit ccakids) . A presentation of the CCA  and  the craniofacial diseases and Cher's part in the association will also be given during the convention
Clubbing party :

Opened to the people who attended the convention but also to everyone who wants to party in a good atmosphere !

with :
> An 1 hour tribute show  with some of Cher's  greatest songs from the last 40 years, with video projections
(including an new one). The Show will be performed by two Cher impersonators, wearing some of her famous outfits.

> A projection of rare live performances from the Heart Of Stone Tour (at the Jones Beach Theater) and from the Love Hurts Tour.
with Cher remixes, and also other artists , to create a great atmosphere !!

Specify  your first name and familly name. An invitation will be sent back by e-mail.
Print it and keep it very carefully. Bring it with you the D day as a proof.
A ticket offering access to the clubbing party, including a free drink, will be given.

The price of the package (convention and clubbing party) is 25 Euros (20 + 5 euros) payable at your arrival at the convention.

> 20 euros : price asked by the Club Med World for the clubbing party, with a free drink (6 euros transfered to CCA)

> 5 euros : price asked to be part of the convention (fully transfered to CCA)
