Master C.C. Shen, instructs Chen Style Tai Chi. Mr. Shen received 24 years of traditional Chinese education before he came to US for his graduate study. He was raised in a very warm and well-disciplined family. He got his Master of Science Degree from UTA major in static and dynamic forcing behaviors. His achievement in the study in Chinese history, culture and modern science made him not only as a bridge between authentic Chinese culture and western individuals, but also a great Tai Chi Quan(Tai Chi forms) messenger for Tai Chi practitioners.
The mysteries of Taiji Quan are consisted in several areas:
1. Abstract nature of Chinese Language and Culture
2. Classical literaturelly written documents.
3. Conceptual description of Taiji Art.
4. Body dynamics in individual bodies the level Taiji Quan masters achieved are beyond description.
For regular modern Chinese, their background, if lack of transitional culture education, all the above will be a handicap for them to learn Taiji and study Taiji Quan theories, either they can not understand, or even worse, misunderstand Taiji Quan.
For western practitioners, it becomes even a matter of unreachable issue. Because of the language barrier, all western practitioners could do is to read the translated ones which are not able to overcome all the barriers listed above. The consequences have been very critically impact their concept and studies, not matter how hard or how they believe they are not in a misleading track.
Master CC. Shen is like a messenger, translator. During his 10 years continuous study with Grand Master Cheng Jing-Cai and his own delicate study, his deeply comprehension of Taiji Art, not only in theories but also the real world applications makes his Taiji Quan Kong-Fu to very high level. This is because of his background in traditional Chinese culture, ancient Chinese literature, Engineering education in advanced degree in static an dynamic forcing behaviors in US for 25 years, body mechanism, as well as his wide common sense in daily life and modern science development.
Master CC. Shen make Taiji Quan become so easy to be understood by means of simple daily life examples, all the students comprehend the beauty of true Taiji Art in a short time, instead of 5 or 10 years after dedicated practicing.
