Human Sin

I am here, as much as I detest this.
Broken, and scattered amidst a great precipice
Of indecision.  Of my own vision.
Patience, a virtue I've long since neglected,
Tears of the abandoned are solemnly reflected,
And I sing of consequence.
Brush away the recesses of Human Sin
To reveal the vulnerable,
The abused child within, vacant of innocence.
Raped of consciousness, dangling
On the edge of this...this chasm.
I am the product of a single orgasm.
I am the result of a muscular spasm.
Industrial security and a glow of dissatisfaction
Churning the pure into waste in one action,
Disease of the mind, of the soul, of the earth,
I have been dying since the eve of my birth.
I am Innocence Lost.  I am what Always Was.
Disillusioned and Drowning,  Destined to Fail.
