Chenies Street Chambers was purpose-built for women artists
and physcians, in 1888, so it is not surprising that there have been many
interesting, vibrant people, generally social reformers, living here over
the years. As the building has been a Council Building, with Camden Council
Tenants since 1947, there have been many ordinary heroes living here as well,
who have changed society in a quiet way, to make life better for everyone.
Their stories and work will be recorded as well.
