Chapter 1

Doesn't Panamanian seem like an odd word?
blah blah blah, thank you CBD I have no reason to re-re-re-re-re-read this part...
Blah blah blah, throw away the pearl, yeah go ahead...makes me mad. apparently Bain doesn't recover that treasure as we so errantly hoped. Maybe you and I can take a school of yaks sometime over to the Caribbean and we could hunt for it. Mel Fischer style.

Chapter 2.

Duvall Court...ooh! Sounds so medieval now that I think about it. Not the charm that "Winslow Villa" evokes, but regal just the same. Ah yes, the authors agree with me. "Lovely and graceful." Right. Now, lets read a whole paragraph shall we? Ok, Irene enters the scene, Cheney wants her to stay. Somehow, I don't think that heart-to-heart is about to unfold, seeing as how it's dinner time. Drat. I DO hope Irene sits Cheney down before too long.

Ok, I don't get this. Why did Shiloh EAT one oyster, and Cheney LEFT one oyster? Does that make sense at all?

DEV! DEV! DEV! YES! We finally hear about Dev's father! This is wonderful! All the italics! I can't stand it!
Duane, his name was Duane....And Devlin was his mother's surname? I'd have never guessed. And he was Irish. That explains the dark features a bit. Wow, they married at 17? That's even worse than Sarah and Allen. Oh NO, Dev! My poor sweet Dev, a boot blacker! No, they have to go ON! Dev, what happened to your father?!
