From Cyberspace to Nature

Exhibited in Melbourne, Canberra, Tel-Aviv, Auckland

This series of paintings was born in my mind throughout the end of 1999 and in the beginning of the new millennium. We can't live in this new era without being exposed to the massive communication and technology progress around us. Computers and the Internet opened for us all a huge number of channels to learn, communicate, join together and create a new atmosphere around us. We have been vacuumed into cyberspace; fluttering around in astonishment like colourful leaves trying to connect, communicate as individual’s unique souls, while merging with others. How is this New World with its new rules going to influence our fragile human soul? What will it be like, to live in this next millennium? How will the world around us be tomorrow? And in the end of time… will it be the modern technology, the cold lines and rules, or the creative human heart and soul that rule our world? Or maybe, all of them will merge together to create a better space for us all?
