3nd Quarter Chemistry Assignments

 

Remember outlines are worth more points than other assignments. This is because they are VERY important.

Don’t forget to work on your Final project. Due two weeks before Final Exams; worth 300 points.

For each chapter, write definitions for key terms and sentences using each key term.

RUBRIC For notebooks:

5 =A: Assignment is complete and well done.

4 =B: Assignment is mostly complete and mostly well done.

3 =C: Assignment is mostly complete and effort was put into finding correct answers.

2 =D: Assignment is incomplete and some effort was put into finding correct answers.

0.5 =F: Assignment wasn’t attempted or is incomplete and careless.

HW 1: Chemical Formulas: Outline Chapter 7 making sure to copy table 7.3, 7.4, 7.5  7.9 and 7.12.

HW 2: Write the symbols, atomic numbers and names of the first 30 elements.

HW 3: Do numbers 1 – 6 pages 171, 172. Honors also  do #23, 24. page 182.

HW 4: Do numbers 25, 26 page 183.
