    The Rickenbacker is a member of the Mahan Class of Ships, which in it'self is apart of the Carriers of the Fleet. She is a little bigger than a Soveriegn, and alot sleeker.
    The Rick has two warp cores and six warp nacelles apart of her design. The point being that when the saucer section seperates it can also engage warp speed.
    Because the Mahan is a Carrier, it's forward phaser array has been limited to make space for all the fighters, shuttles and runabouts.
     To increase the sensor range of the ship, the Rick will send out a contignet of shuttles to create a gigantic sensor array.
