Favorite Vactaion Places
Turner Falls, Oklahoma
Turner Falls, located in the Arbuckle Mountains of Oklahoma, is where Josh and I love to go camping. They are home of a 77 ft. spring fed waterfall, caves and various other geological formations. They have access for the modern campers with RV's, or the primitive types who like to rough it, like us.The pictures below are ones taken from the observation deck just before entering the park. It is a perfect get-a-way for the weekend spot (where possible), or a family vacation. Best part, it is opened year round.
Cancun, Mexico
Below is a picture of the hotel we stayed at in Cancun, Mexico. The hotel shown is the one we stayed in Jack Tar Village, an all adult resort. The hotel was beautiful on the outside only. The rooms, service and food were horrible. Not one that I would recommend. But Cancun as a whole is beautiful and the ocean was great.
Banff, Alberta, Canada
Below you will find a couple of pics I found, one is from a postcard and is of the hotel that we had the joy of staying in. Isn't it gorgeous? The other is a pic I found on the web and is of a nearby ski resort mountain, Mt. Norquay.
South Lake Tahoe, Nevada
And finally, this is the first place Josh and I actually went as our first real vacation together. We stayed in the Harvey's Lake Tahoe Resort and gambled the night away on several occasions. Also shown is Emerald Bay, a very popular place for pictures. I would highly recommend this as a place to visit for both gambling and site seeing in the beautiful surrounding Sierra Nevada Mountains.
