My favorite band is of course the . Not only have they shaped the dance scene, but they've also done some excellent remixes for anyone who matters, and have recorded two top ablums!

The Chemical Brothers are Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons. When they weren't locked away somewhere collecting vinyl they were getting out partying (in-between lectures and exams), they became regulars at such places as Hacienda, hassleing DJ's for rare tracks, these relationships stood them in good stead for the future.

DJ-ing was the next step for these boys, rumours state that their first DJ-ing experience together was whilst in a drunken state at a wedding. University has many opportunities for the budding DJ, with a decent set of decks and a monster record collection - they started working under the moniker "Blood", this was later dropped in favour of "The Dust Brothers".

Their debut album "Exit Planet Dust", was released in June 1995 and sold over 200,000 copies worldwide. In 1995/1996 they totally stormed such festivals as "Tribal Gathering". Their second album "Dig your own hole", was also a sucess and included their number 1 single "Block Rockin' Beats". But by far their best song is "Where Do I Begin", with the vocals from the divine Beth Orton.
