Corporal Eric D. Syring
(Sep 1998 - Feb 2002)
    Cpl Eric D Syring, originally from Green Bay, WI, enlisted in the Marine Corps in March 1998.  After completion of recruit training at San Diego, CA and SOI at Camp Pendleton, he attended the NBC Defense School in Ft McClellan, AL.
     A trained NBC Marine, Cpl Syring reported to 2/2 and had an instant impact.  The warehouse and equipment were a reflection of his hard work and dedication.  During his 3 years here, he deployed in CONUS to AP Hill, VA and Twentynine Palms, CA.  He also did a tour to the Mediterannean, including Croatia.
     Cpl Syring's awards include: the Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal (for superior performance), the Good Conduct Medal, 3 Certificates of Commendation, 2 Meritorious Masts, 2 Letters of Appreciation, and more.
     Along with his wife, Jenny, and four children; Cpl Syring will return to Wisconsin.  He plans to work as a first responder.  He's considering staying in the Marine Reserves.
     Cpl Syring will be missed.  Go Pack!
