When I was in Cub Scouts in 1999, our patrol went to a Chargers Game for free! We sat in the front row, 50 yard line on the Chargers side. We were able to see all of the Chargers. At the end of the game I saw Jr. walking towards the stands. I went over to see him. I was standing right next to Jr.'s wife and son. As he went to help them over the railing and down to the field, he looked right at me. I said, "Hi." and he nodded at me!
Then in 2000, I was at the La Jolla shores beach hanging out with my family when Dad recognized Jr. and his wife. I went over to Jr. and asked him for his autograph. Kim wanted to take a picture of me with Jr., but I was so nervous that when he finished the autograph, I ran.
