| EXTRA CREDIT!!! There is a "Minute Lab" somewhere within each chapter in the margin. These are short labs that can be done at home. You must hand in a "write-up" in the following format for extra credit. 1. Title 2. Purpose 3. Materials Used 4. Any hypotheses made 5. Answer all questions asked. The Minute Lab report must be turned in no later than the test date of the chapter being covered. You may only do the Minute Lab for the specific chapter we are covering in class. These are worth up to 10 points toward your lab grade. Your second option is to read and answer the questions from one of the "extra" sections within the chapter. Most chapters have at least one section on Technology, Environment and Science, etc. You may only get extra credit for one per chapter. The questions must be answered in complete sentences, with supporting statements. Sometimes the question can be answered from the reading passage. Most times, you will have to do some additional researching to gather a complete answer. This, like the Minute Lab will be worth up to 10 points toward your lab grade. |
