Chelwood Christian Reformed Church 

History

Chelwood Christian Reformed Church, located in Albuquerque, NM, has approximately 80 members. It was founded in 1962 for mission outreach to the Native Americans in the area. Many visitors have passed through Chelwood over the years. They have been blessed by the generosity of the members of Chelwood. Chelwood has changed over the years, but it remains a neighborhood outreach program that meets the needs of the community. Many of its members come from Christian Reformed backgrounds. 

Chelwood is also fortunate enough to share its building with a Korean Christian Reformed Church. Initially, it was a Presbyterian Church, but recently this church went through the process of joining the Christian Reformed Church.

Under the guidance of the Reverend Roger Bowman, it now serves the local community.
