Chelwood Christian Reformed Church

Christian Education
CHURCH SCHOOL seeks
to be a place for life-long learning. We
meet Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
¨
PRESCHOOLERS
through 6th grade use the LIFE (Living in Faith Everyday) curriculum
developed to teach Bible stories and concepts in a small group setting. Our LIFE leaders serve as spiritual mentors and faith models
for the children.
¨
MID
SCHOOL MINISTRY combines
learning and fun. We use a variety
of Bible based materials and hands-on activities on Sunday mornings as well as
during special events such as in-church sleep-overs, field trips, sports
activities, and our Jam Band. There’s
always time to hang out with friends after worship in the Mid-School Room.
¨
HIGH
SCHOOL GROUP
gathers on Sunday mornings in the Youth Room to dig into God’s Word.
They work with their leader to choose from a menu of short courses
including Bible studies and Bible topics important to teens.
Opportunities are given for student-led study and off-site events.
The Youth Room is always an important place to catch up with friends
about the week’s activities and upcoming Youth Group events.
¨ ADULTS met weekly to discuss God’s Word and its place in their world. Lively discussion and a cup of coffee create an open atmosphere for mutual learning.
