A small poem/possible song, a long road trip symbolizing the Christian's walk in today's world.
It's a long way to Heaven
so just buckle yourself down.
We've got miles and miles yet to go
and we're not gonna turn around.
Now don't be takin' orders
that you know just aren't good.
Shut up and smile pretty,
as young girls and boys should.
The Lord will be with you
if you sit tight and wait.
He'll come thumbing our way soon--
God is never late.
And it's a long way to Heaven
so don't you turn away.
If you're good, and love your God,
you kow we'll meet up with Him some day.
