Part 9 of the RR by Cheryl ended like this:

Once they were back out in the ballroom, Lee turned to close the door.

"Now, what do we have here?  What have the two of you been up to in
there?"  A voice from behind Lee asked.

Lee’s hand froze on her lower back, taking a deep breath he turned his wife and smiled brightly.  “Princess, what a pleasant surprise!  Whatever are you doing in D.C?”

“Don’t think you can distract me with small talk, Mr. Stetson.”  Penny smiled, “I just caught you two sneaking out of the coat closet.  Now, Amanda I thought you said there was nothing between you two?”  Her eyebrow quirking in question.

A slight blush crept up Amanda’s cheeks.  “Wonderful to see you again Penny.  I… there is… was nothing going on between us.  We’re just friends and the coat check girl left to go take a break and I wanted to get a Tylenol for my headache.  So Lee helped me look around for my coat.”  Hoping her ramble succeeded in satisfying Penny’s curiosity Amanda continued.  “I love that dress!  Will Prince Rheza be joining you?”

“Hmmmph!  Tylenol my foot, I’ll let you go for now though.”  The Princess smiled and hugged her old friend.  “Rheza and I decided to spend the holiday’s stateside this year with my family.  We didn’t even let anyone know we were coming.  We’ve been staying with my brother and his wife.  Since this is our last night before we fly back, we rented the Honeymoon Suite for some quiet time.”  Penny smiled brightly.  “We’d just checked in and were checking out the parties when I saw you and Mr. Stetson.”

“Mr. Stetson, Mrs. King.  What a pleasure to see you again.”  Rheza leaned over and kissed Amanda lightly on the hand.  Turning his full attention to Amanda, “May I have this dance?”

“I’d be honored, Prince Rheza.”  Amanda gracefully accepted his proffered hand and trailed out onto the dance floor.

With a slight bow Lee extended his hand to the Princess, “I’d be honored if you’d dance with me.”

In perfect unison the two couples twirled about the dance floor.  As the song came to an end they switched partners and continued into the next song.

Resting her check on his shoulder Amanda snuggled in. “The Prince is pleasant to dance with but I much prefer being held by my husband.”

“Sweetheart, I know how much you love to cuddle after what we just did but there are way to many eyes out there watching our every move.  Especially the Prince and Princess right now.”  Lee glanced over at the other couple in time to see Penny wink at her husband.

Reluctantly putting some distance between their bodies, Amanda smiled at her friend.  “I guess we’ll have to mingle some more or raise a lot of eyebrows and questions.”

“Yeah, after this dance we should go separate ways.  Maybe dance a dance or two with someone else and meet back up in about a half hour or so.”  Lee pulled her close for the last chords of the song.  “I love you.”

Looking deeply into her husband’s eyes she smiled. “I love you too.”  Then turning she walked away.

Amanda started towards the bar as she saw her husband approach the recently reappeared Billy and Jeanie.  Deciding that she couldn’t let Lee forget what was yet to come she made deliberate eye contact and picked up the strawberry the bartender had perched on the side of her mixed drink.  Delicately she ran her tongue around the brilliant red fruit lightly sucking the tip into her mouth.  Biting down she took the tip off and spread juice around her lips.  Replacing the rest of the fruit on the glass she sucked her finger into her mouth, making sure Lee had a clear vie of her actions.

“May I have this dance?”
