Hurting & Loving - Part 7

*1 hour later* "Ares?" Gabrielle said, now free of the cage. "Yea?" he asked tentatively. His head was down.

"Do you really love me?"

Silence. Then, "yes." Gabrielle's heart leapt. "Ares? I...I...I love you too."

Ares raised his head. "Really?" he said with a little smile.

"Really." Gabrielle confirmed. Ares grinned like a little boy, walked over to Gabrielle and gently kissed her.

*3 days later* Gabrielle and Ares had really changed. They walked down the halls of the temple together, holding hands. They whispered, kissed, and all that mushy stuff.

*1 hour later* Gabrielle and Ares had decided that they would have a picnic in the temple gardens. Most of the priestesses hated her because they were jealous. But, suprisingly, Gabrielle didn't mind. As long as she had Ares and her friend Selina. Until.......

*30 minutes later* Ares was late to their picnic. Gabrielle had been waiting for 30 minutes. She thought 'he's probably in a war or something'. She decided to go in the temple. Gabrielle started walking down the bedroom wing and when she stopped at Ares' bedroom, which had the door closed, she heard
some moans. Intrigued, she opened the door slowly and poked her head in and saw, to her horror, Ares and Selina making out on the bed. Ares was....ewww.....groping his hands around, if you know what I mean. Gabrielle, in a fit of hurting, ran from the bedroom, slamming the door in the process by accident. Ares and Selina heard the door slam, just as the things were
getting more....intimate. They looked up and at the same time, said "Uh oh. GABRIELLE!!! GABRIELLE!!!!!!". They got up from the bed, put some more clothes on, rushed out of the door, and started chasing Gabrielle.

"Gabrielle!!! IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK!!!! STOP!!!!" She paid no heed and kept on running and screamed "ARTEMIS!!!!! APHRODITE!!!! I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!!"

They appeared behind a wide tree. Making sure Ares and Selina couldn't see where she was going, she veered to the right to the tree. That's when chaos broke out....

*2 minutes later* Gabrielle was sobbing hysterically. Artemis and Aphrodite were shocked by the way Gabrielle looked, and how she was acting. "Honny, what's the matter? Tell Aphrodite..."

Gabrielle stopped sobbing a little to tell them the whole thing. "Me and Ares were getting pretty close, and I was just about to make up my mind to stay at his temple!" Hiccup. Sob. "Today, we were gonna have a picnic, Ares and me, alone." Aphrodite nodded and Artemis kept silent, but her eyes urged Gabrielle to finish. "He was late." Sob. Hiccup. Hiccup.

"Hunny, it happens. Being late is no biggie!" Aphrodite
consoled, wondering how that could get Gabrielle so upset.

"NO! HE WAS LATE BECAUSE HE WAS WITH SELINA!!!!" She yelled hysterically crying, half in anger and half in hurt.

"WHAT? Just because they were friends and they were
talking, right?" Aphrodite asked with some doubt in herself on this question. She didn't want this to go on, but she knew this had to. "Yea, they were talking..." Aphrodite sighed, relieved.

But Gabrielle wasn't finished yet. Now, she was ENRAGED. "Yea, they were talking...THEY WERE TALKING ON THE BED
WHILE THEY WERE MAKING OUT AND GETTING MORE INTIMATE EACH SECOND!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She screamed.

Artemis gasped. "SELINA?! I'll kill her....I'll kill her." She started ranting, pacing back and forth.

"Get in line, sis. I get her first!!!!!" Aphrodite protested.

"She's my priestess....or she used to be!!!!!"

"It's LOVE business!!"

"Gabrielle is my CHOSEN!"

"Gabrielle is my FRIEND!!"

Aphrodite and Artemis were so busy fighting that they did not notice Ares and Selina there. They had finally guessed where Gabrielle was.

Aphrodite, when she saw them, stopped talking abruptly, and an statement of hate and anger was directed to both Ares and Selina, who both winced. But they winced again when they saw Artemis' face. PURE HATE. Pure hate directed to Ares and
Selina.

Selina knelt at Artemis' feet. "My goddess, forgive-" Artemis kicked her in the face. "You are not my priestess anymore, I am not your goddess anymore, get outta my face you bitc*!!!" she snarled.

Selina got up from the ground, cupping her hand to her eye where Artemis had kicked her. She gasped. "But..." She then saw Gabrielle. Another PURE HATE statement. "I'm SOO
sorry, Gabrielle. We just got carried away....can you forgi-"

Gabrielle laughed evilly. "Forgive? FORGIVE? There is nothing to forgive you about! I guess I was just a little play-thing for Ares, and YOU were the REAL-thing. Isn't that right?!" She glared at Ares and Selina.

"Gabrielle-" Ares started.

She punched him, hard in the face. "SHUT UP!!!!!!" She screamed.
