Artemis and Gabrielle arrived in a beautiful temple. Several priestesses were scurrying about, giving both odd and envious looks. Gabrielle figured they were envious because she was with their goddess, and she was her chosen.

Artemis led her down the main hall, giving her a tour. "These are all of the priestesses' rooms. If you want, I can appoint 3 priestesses to help you along for a while. Would you like that?"

Gabrielle looked up at Artemis and smiled. "Yes, please. I think I would like that."

Artemis smiled back. Then they disappeared to the guest hall. "Here is your room. It's the biggest room in the whole hall." She opened the door for her.

Gabrielle gasped. The room was BEAUTIFUL! A king size bed, a desk, a dresser, some chests, and a big vanity mirror. "Oh my!" she exclaimed.

Artemis giggled. Gabrielle walked over to the huge bay window and took in the ethereal sight of mountains, fields, and rivers. "Amazing" she breathed.

"I hope this room suits you, Gabrielle?" Artemis inquired.

"Oh, yes. Definitely." Gabrielle replied. "Thank you."

"No biggie, queenie." Gabrielle looked at Artemis strangely. Artemis went pale. "Oh no." she said with horror.

"What is it?"

"I'm starting to talk like Dite." Gabrielle giggled. Then laughed. Soon, Artemis joined in.

Hurting and Loving * Part 2

*setting: Artemis' temple.*

Gabrielle sighed. 2 weeks had passed. She had a great time....but....she thought the priestessess were a bit nosy and stuck-up. There was one that she became friends with, Selina. She was a nice girl, knew how to fight. Selina had long black hair, green eyes, and was very friendly and personable. She and Gabrielle chatted a lot. Selina was new in the temple, and everytime she messed up in something, like, dropping a gift, or making a warlord angry, Gabrielle would cover for her. This did not put her on many priestessess' nice sides. "Maybe I shouldn't stay here. But then again, I have only stayed here for 2 weeks, but I don't really like it here.

Artemis?"

Artemis appeared in a flash of green light. "Yes Gabrielle?"

"Artemis, I know I've only stayed here for 2 weeks, but, no offense, I don't
think this is my kind of style. Sorry..." Gabrielle didn't wanna offend Artemis, but Artemis seemed okay with it.

"That's okay, Gabrielle. I've been seeing how you've been with the priestesses. You have been having a hard time with all of them except for Selina. If you want, you may take her with you to Aphrodite's temple."

Gabrielle squealed and hugged Artemis, startling her.

"Gabrielle..."

"Oh, sorry Artemis." Artemis tried to block what she felt, after all, she was a goddess. But she was stunned at the warmthness she felt from her. She straightened her clothes and coughed. "That's all right. SELINA!!!"

Selina ran into the room. "Yes, my goddess?" she knelt down.

"You will go with Gabrielle to Aphrodite's temple, and if she wishes you to, Ares'
also. Understood?"

"Yes, Artemis!!" Selina was so excited. She had never been outside temple grounds. She was born in the temple and Artemis never sent her on journeys or quests. And , also, many of the priestesses did not like her because she was friends with Gabrielle. SHe and Gabrielle exited the room. She squealed and said "I'm SOOOOOO excited!!!!!" and Gabrielle smiled.

The next morning, they packed up. As a gift, Artemis gave Gabrielle a green and white 2 piece top. It was a miniskirt and a haltertop. The haltertop was like a bodice; you had to tie it. She also gave her 3 gold bracelets, sandals, and a lot of food, like pastries, pies, ham, cheese, bread, apples, and some of Dionysis' wine. Then, Artemis also gave Selina 3 bracelets, sandals and a blue and lavender outfit. It was one piece, with thin straps and the dress stopped at mid thigh. Finally, after eating a big breakfast, Artemis popped them to Aphrodite's temple.

Pink. That was all that was there. "OUCH! TOO PINK, TOOOO PINK, oww i'm
blinded!" Gabrielle shouted in pain. "TOOOO PINK!!!! APHRODITE, HELP!!!!"

They appeared in the main room. Aphrodite popped in and said, "Hey, sweetie,
you made it! Who's your little friend? Selina? Hi, nice outfit girls!!" They
were wearing Artemis' gifts.

"Thanks, but Aphrodite?" Gabrielle said, trying to shield her eyes from the pink colors.

"Yea, okay, i'll just pop you into your rooms. And for you guys' sakes, I'll switch the colors to red." Selina and Gabrielle released a sigh of relief.

"Thanks, Dite."

"No, problem." *Pop*

"Nice rooms" Selina commented.

"Very nice rooms" Gabrielle agreed.

They put all their belongings on a bureau in the room. After, Selina started putting on a little make-up. "Come on, Gabrielle, this is Aphrodite's temple. Wear a little make-up, at least."

They argued for 5 minutes. "OH, fine, Selina, only mascara, eyeliner, and lipstick though." Selina nodded happily.

Then they started fighting on what shade of lipstick looked better on Gabrielle.

"Darker is better for you, Gabby!"

"NO! I like light colors!"

"Eww...I don't like that light color. It ruins your lovely face!" They stared huffily at each other.

"APHRODITE!!!!" They yelled. She appeared in pink and said "Wuzup homies?"

"HUH?"

"Nevermind"

"Aphrodite, what color looks better on Gabrielle? The lighter or darker lipstick?" they both asked.

"Hmmm..." she said. "Major decision....they both stink. You need something in between." she zapped something on Gabrielle.

"HEY! THAT LOOKS GREAT!" they both exclaimed.

"NO problem" she said, satisfied. "Now, Selina, YOU need a darker color."

"I do not!"

"Yes you do!"

"NO!"

"YES!"

"NO!"

"APHRODITE!!!!!"

Aphrodite sighed. It was gonna be a Looooooong 5 weeks.

Hurting and Loving * Part 3


*Setting: 2 weeks later at Aphrodite's Temple* Gabrielle was bored. Nothing to do. The priestesses were nice, some were snooty, though. All of them, however, were very.....flirtatious. "If I stay here for 3 more weeks, I'm gonna die. All the priests are flirting at me, all the priestesses are flirting at them....o gods. Aphrodite?"

She appeared in a flash of pink light. "Yea sweetie? This better be important cuz I'm getting a manicure, ya know."

"Aphrodite, it's been great here, but, I don't think I wanna stay here. Thanks though. It was nice."

"OH, SWEETCHEEKS! I'm so sad that you can't stay! But, you still have one temple to go...but before you leave....PRESENTS!!!"

Gabrielle grinned. She loved presents.

Aphrodite ended up giving her 1 gold ring with an emerald, 2 silver bracelets with intricate designs, some green, blue and gold nail polish, some make-up including eye shadow and mascara, and some more pastries and grapes for some snacks. "There you go, sweetie, you should be able to dress yourself up nice if you get it on with a guy!" She wiggled her eyebrows suggestively.

"APHRODITE!!!" She giggled and Aphrodite popped her to Ares' temple.
