Chelsey Rose Parkinson
Chelsey, my granddaughter, was born at Huddersfield
Royal Infirmary on Tuesday 15th December 1998. Sadly she died at
Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, aged just 6, on Thursday 28th April 2005.
She died of Myocarditis, which could not have been foreseen.
.She was the
youngest child of Andrea & Kevin Parkinson who live in Huddersfield,
West Yorkshire.
When Chelsey
was 5 days old it was discovered that she did not have a thyroid so had to have
tablets every day. To make sure she was getting the right dose of
tablets she had to go to the hospital & have blood taken. She was
a very brave little girl & when she was offered a numbing ointment she
would always say "no" & then watch while they took
the blood!
