2003 CFFL Pre-Pre Season Predictions: Commissioner Rochon |

Obvioulsy it's way to early to attempt any sort of reasonable prediction on how our league will unfold in 2003, but what the hell. Partly out of boredom, and partly because I'm still upset at my team's poor showing year after year, I've decided to impart to you clowns how I think things will shake down next year.
Of course, the draft could have an effect on each team, but for the most part, unless a major deal is made, what you see is what you're going to get.
If I had to rank the entire league it would be: 1.) Mari Men 2.) J-Lo's Booty Crew 3.) Packers 4.) BallBreakers 5.) Arlington Steelers 6.) Sunvale Broncos 7.) Chapman Cowboys 8.) Pittsburgh Blades 9.) Redskins 10.) Chiefs 11.) 49ers 12.) Smoke 13.) Bears 14.) AC Bills.
Feel free to write back with your thoughts on this, I can be contacted at [email protected].

Mari Men

You have to be the favorite any time you win the league championship and don't lose a key player in the off season. That being said the quarterback positon is a question mark as it remains to be seen which Kurt Warner will emerge in 2003.
Packers
Man, this team could score points last year. In my opinion, only a late season injury to superstud Priest Holmes kept this team from sipping from the Capital Cup in 2002. If Holmes is healthy they could be sipping in 2003.
Arlington Steelers
Jedi mind tricks! That's all I can come up with when trying to explain this team's ability to "steal" players from other teams last year. Jerry Porter, Michael Bennett, Chad Pennington, and Ricky Williams were all on other teams at the start of the 2002 season and were all important to this team's third place finish.
Sunvale Broncos
How this team finished so poorly last season is a mystery. Wedding plans have been suggested as the cause for the ownership's lack of focus in 2002. But, with the wedding "out of the way" before the start of the 2003 season, these former champs should be ready to roll. Hopefully they can make up for some of the poor deals they made last season, at this year's draft.
Pittsburgh Blades
What can I say, I have the best "never to make the playoffs" team in the history of fantasy football (no bias). Once again the Blades were top 3 in scoring and once again we were in the top 5 in points against. As Mr. Kelly put it.."the tough schedule killed us". This year promises to be different as.......what am I saying, who fucking knows! I have Culpepper, Green, Davis, Garner, Ownens, and Boston and I still suck? What the f@&*K!
Redskins
Owner George Christakos is now known around league circles as "The Trader". Who knows come week one who will be on this roster but one thing is for sure, they will be competitive. With another year under their belt, the Redskins could be primed to surprise some teams. Rumor has it that already more than one significant deal has been struck, to be announced after the weekend of the 26th.
Bears
Another case of new ownership for the 2003 season. The former Dolphins will adopt the Bears nickname in the hopes of changing not only a name but an attitude as well. Travis Henry is a good building point, but can Mr. Decarlse improve enough in season one to make much of an impact, probably not.
