This is a red salvia. It does the best in direct heat and sunlight and is a favorite to plant in places where other plants can't "take the heat". |

Three years ago, we had 2 chipmunks that decided to make their home in one of our shrubs in the front of our house. They carried in a bunch of sunflower seeds into our front garden. Since that year, we have continued to carry on the chipmunk's tradition and replant the seeds in the same area. We couldn't have picked a prettier spot on our own for these lovely medium height sunflowers. |

This is one of my favorite suprises that popped up in our garden this year. I believe this is a green Chinese Lantern plant. It has such beautiful blooms and is one of my favored unique plants. |

Zachary loves to garden as well. One of his favorite activities is picking tomatoes and eating them right off of the vine. We have a tomatoe plant right beside our entranceway so that he can pick them whenever he wants. It also makes a neat conversation piece, having a single tomatoe plant amid our pretty flowers out front. |
