This website is addressing the problem that people aged between 14 and 20 do not have much to do in their local area, in this case Chelmsford, this is why they hang around bus stops and cause trouble on the streets. • Decide the sort of job you want to get.

• Ask any shops or businesses in the area if they have any jobs.

• Look in the local papers, there are often pubs and bars requiring bar staff.

• Don't be affraid to ask for a job, the worst thing they can say is "no".

• Always look smart and be polite at the interview.

• If it is a supermarket you are applying to try to be as flexable as possible with your hours, they much prefere flexable hours.
