| Stats: Name: Michelle Birthday: April 7, 1984 Zodiac Sign: Aries Movies: I love the movie Pearl Harbor because it evokes so much emotion, and the characters are easy to identify with. I also love Faith Hill's song on the soundtrack, "There You'll Be," for the same reason. Books: Right now I'm reading Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul and The Authoritative Calvin and Hobbes. I love Calvin's imagination and mischievious nature--it cracks me up! :) I also really like the sonnets I read in English class. Music: I like all types of music and I have quite a few "favorite" songs. "Unchained Melody" by the Righteous Brothers, "Drops of Jupiter" by Train, and "Slide" by the Goo Goo Dolls are just a few that come to mind. I love all of the mixed CDs I make, but my favorite store-bought ones right now are Matchbox 20's first album and Goo Goo Dolls Dizzy Up the Girl. From looking at my other pages, you might think I'm obsessed with boybands. I used to be, but now I like more alternative types of bands like Creed, Matchbox 20, and Incubus. But I worked too hard on my 'Nsync pages to take them down! :) Friends: I love hanging out with my friends, but there's not much to do in this small town! We like to go out to eat, roam around in stores, and eat ice-cream. :) I also like to go to the movies, and I learned last night that I like playing football, too. (Ha, not real football, just the tag kind.) Sports: I'm not really into sports, although I used to play softball. I don't play for a team anymore, but I still love to play whenever I get a chance. School: I'm what you might call a "school-girl," although school is definately not my whole life. I make good grades, so people assume I spend most of my time studying. I don't hate high school like some people; in fact I really don't mind it. But I can't wait to get out of here and move on. College: I'm freaking out over the application process. My dream school is Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, although I don't want to get my hopes up. I also applied to Boston University, Rice, and I'm working on Trinity and UT Austin. Employment: I don't have a job right now. I worked at Garden Ridge for 5 months, but I had to quit due to a family obligation. I went job hunting again today...I really hope I can get a job at the CD Exchange. Clubs: I am involved in a lot of clubs at school. The main club I participate in is Key Club, where I'm the president. I'm also vice-president of the National Honor Society, and I'm trying to stay active in Class Office when the meetings don't conflict with Key Club. Family: My family consists of me, my 10-year-old sister Nicole, my mom, my dad, and my dog (or brother, as we call him) Oscar. Oscar is a miniature dachschund--really cute! :) That's enough for now.
