you try your hardest to be different
to be anything but ordinary
your uniquenes is fake
so is you personality.
at such high stakes,
you desperately try to stand out
you're so fucking brilliant
or so you think
you write kindergarten poems
every other sentence rhyming
they're so fake
like you
product like owner
they're so superficial
yet you smile at your lame words
you're in for a rude awakening
it sucks to be you
on the outside you work so hard to be original
but i see through you
i see the little girl inside
passive and just like the rest of them
do what you have to
to make yourself feel better
do what you need to
to hide yourself from others. |
