Vivienne Li is a character for White Wolf's Vampire: The Masquerade Rev. Ed. game. She's not real, and any resemblance to a real person is all from my imagination.
Vivienne Li is a tiny Asian goth girl. She's lived a sheltered life, sent to private schools all her life. But still, she resented her parents because she didn't realize that she was getting the best of what America had to offer -- all those things her parents didn't have when they were young and living in Communist China -- handed to her on a silver platter. Instead of appreciating her parents gifts to her, she rebelled by dressing in fashions that her conservative parents couldn't believe, eventually going all-out goth.
She couldn't wait till she was an adult so that she could move out. Recently having turned 21, she hangs out completely with a goth crowd, even her room-mate is a goth. She even had a very expensive custom set of fangs made so she could look all "vampire-ish."
She's never run into -real- vampires before, so she thinks that she's the closest thing there is, even though she's not much more than a wannabe. Having never really been in a relationship with anyone but high school guys, she's completely unprepared for the gothic punk world of goth clubs and bars like Club Fetish. But having read and heard about what to expect, she thinks there are no surprises in store for her.
Not too long ago, her best friend, Vira, using Vivienne's ID to get into Club Fetish, disappeared and hasn't been seen since. Vivienne is afraid that her friend might be dead. Of course, if Vira's body turns up, everyone's going to think it's her, and she's going to have a lot of explaining to do.
More recently, Viv has become a freelance information broker. Through some of her Chinese connections, she has found that she can smuggle information in and out of mainland China -- for a price, of cousre. One piece of information she got recently has pissed of some members of the Chinese Army, and some thugs have been following her.
