| Michael David Lorenzo b. Feb. 14, 1867 in Rome, Italy d. Sep. 21, 1924 Adams Co. Ohio It has been said that Michael Lorenzo hid away on a potato boat to come to America when he was but 20 years old. He disapproved of the military system in Italy at the time. This is just a story handed down through the years. How accurate it is I do not know. I would like to find out more information on Micael Lorenzo. He is my great great grandfather. He married Rachel Agnes Gardner, born in Ohio, I believe in Adams Co. I have a copy of Michael's death certificate stating he was born in Rome, Italy. Father: Benjamin Lorenzo b.
