| Summer Opportunities 2002 |
Freihofer's Kids Club -- (ages 12 and under) read a book, and fill out a short form about it to earn a free box of cookies. (one for July, and one for August) Free McDonalds Summer Reading Program (Grades K-4) -- read five books and earn a Happy Meal. Forms at the Howell Library (probably other libraries too) Free Barnes & Noble Summer Reading -- Dive into Books (Grades 1-6) -- read eight books, and earn a book from their selected prize list. Forms are at the stores. Free Deadline to submit forms is 9/03/02 Education Place Summer Contests (Grades 1-8) -- write book reviews or solve brain teasers to earn a chance to win prizes. Free Free Writing Journal -- Additional suggested writing topics are posted each week.
