It's back to school time again. As we try to get everything ready for school,
remember the CHELC activities that are scheduled for this year. We will have
Friday Forum twice each month with the exception of December. In December the
only CHELC activity we have is the Christmas Dinner. Each
month we also have a Fun Day scheduled after the second Friday Forum of the month.
Watch for details in our monthly newsletter. Field Trips will be scheduled from
time to time so watch your newsletter for these details as well. There will
also be information on these activities made available via email and
announcements made at Friday Forum.
Another big event with CHELC is the Year End Event. On April 28th there
will be a Fine Arts and Science Expo and Kindergarten Graduation. The Expo
gives your child a chance to show off his or her talents and accomplishments
from the school year. This event has always been a rich blessing. Start
planning now for the expo and keep your eyes open throughout the year for
projects that your child might be proud to display. He may also have a piece of
music or an acting routine that he may want to perform. We hope that you will
plan to attend as many of these events as possible. Your involvement is what makes
them a success.

Does it grieve you my friends, that the name of God is being taken in vain
and desecrated? Does it grieve you that we are living in a godless age... But, we are living in such an age and the main reason we
should be praying about revival is that we are anxious to see God's name
vindicated and His glory manifested. We should be anxious to see something
happening that will arrest the nations, all the peoples, and cause them to stop
and to think again.

and their contact information in your handbook you will also find the CHELC
constitution, how to handle conflict, and even the hobbies of your fellow CHELC
members. There's a lot of great information in there, so take time to look it
over!
