| What will we do with the Online Peititions? |
||||||
| We will count them up at the end of September of this year, print off the names and present it to the City of Cleveland Heights Community Offices. These petitions were made to let the city planners know that many of us are concerned about this continuing situation. Understandably, every single lot can't be watched because there are over 30 municipal lots, but they can get electronic surveilance and spend more time keeping an eye on the lots especially during the weekends after 2:00AM - which is when most break in attempts occur, instead of looking around for people parked on the street after 3:00AM. Also, the local policy of anyone parking on a city street in between 3AM-6AM without any signs to the unaware guest visitors is just total nonsense. Unless a streetsweeper comes along every single night on every single residential road in this community, I don't see the reason for this law. All it does is make it look like the city is taking advantage of the unaware guests that visit Cleveland Heights...and that is a LOT of people considering how many out of towner students we have here. If there is a reason for this policy of the No Parking from 3AM to 6AM, please email it to me at: [email protected] Considering it's not posted makes it look like there's no reason except for extra money in the city's treasury. If that's the case, then just say so. Click here to see the website concerning No Parking policy and Police Matters |
