How to Get an "A" in this Class
1. Turn in your work on time even if you are not here.
2. Be in class every day. Your presence is very important.
3. Participate in classroom discussions and labs (clean-up is critical).
4. Do your very best on tests no matter how small they are.
5. Keep your portfolio up-to-date and with you at all times.
How to Get an "Outstanding" in Citizenship
1. Be on time to class and have a smile on your face. A nice greeting would
be appreciated.
2. Always have your own pen or pencil and your own paper ready for anything, like notes or a pop quiz.!
3. Be ever helpful to the teacher and other students and don't ask for extra credit just for being nice.
4. Be appropriately dressed for the Lab, which means closed-toed shoes (no tootsies showing), covered body parts, except for face hands and arms, and hair contained with a clip or rubber band (scrunchie etc.) and a hat (chefs' hat would be nice). Bare midriffs, backsides, baggy pants with boxers showing are hazardous in the lab. I really don't want to see your tattoos or underwear.
5. Leave gum, food and sugary drinks for outside the classroom. Do come prepared with a drink for lab days especially when we make something spicy or sweet.
6. Check the agenda or the board to know what is going on.
7. Make sure I never have to ask you to put away your cell phone, CD player,
or any other electronic devices.
8. Remember, bathroom time is before and after school, passing period, nutrition
and lunchtime, not during class time.
9. Do not line up at the door. Remember the teacher dismisses you not the bell.
