Peas & Q's- Eating Long Pastas!

I love long pastas, such as spaghetti, linguini and fettuccini, but it can be kind of messy to eat in front of other people.......

There are actually three ways to master the trick of eating long pastas in public without slurping it up...and none are difficult:

1) the wimpy way is to cut it into sections and eat with your fork.

2) take a few strands between the tines of your fork and twirl fork around with the tip of the tines resting on the plate, until you get enough for a polite bite.

3) is to hold the fork with one hand and a large desert or soup spoon on your other hand. Take a few strands of the pasta between the tines and then resting the tip of the tines against the bowl of the spoon, twirl away!

When you use either of the last two methods, you twirl until there are no dangling ends. The pasta threads should all be nice and tighly wrapped around the fork. If by chance, any strands should become loose (@#&**#!!) before you get to put it in your mouth, just sort of suck it up (quietly and insconspicuosly), or bite it of, hoping it will fall back on your fork (!!!!) and not drop to your plate or lap!!!!!!
