The Chefs meeting this month will be at The Cooper House in New Harmony , if you need directions please call me.

The meeting last month was at the Strassenfest, thanks to all who were able to help out.
Sam's Club update, we have had to cancel the last 2 dates that we had and will be rescheduling. We have the product to sell, but we need to have people to work. This will be a Saturday from 9-5, see what your schedule will allow.
I will not be in attendance at the meetings thru December, sorry but I have to take some classes for my license. Chef Walter Jr. will be presiding over the meetings. Please show your support by turning out for the meetings.
Highlights from the mass of mailings that I have recived in the past 2 months. If you have any questions in detail let me know, I will also provide the mailings to Chef Edwards.
1. ACF no longer provides bonding for chapters, this needs to be addressed by each chapter. Past coverage by ACF protected chapters from mismanagement of funds by officers. We need to decide how we need to take care of this.
2. 3 new chapters- Choctaw Mississippi, Central Texas, East Central Indiana
3. AAC nomanations need to be completed by Dec. 2002
4.AAC setting up a Senior Chef relief fund
5.ACF will need to appoint a Immediate Past President
6.Current ACF Chef of the Year will keep the same structure but now be called Lifetime Acheivment Award starting in 2003
7. New Chef of the Year will include a cookoff
8. New ACF Logo
9. ACF Chapter rebate for national members ($50.00) will discontinue. National will keep the $ 50.00
10. Possible formation of a foundation for the ACF Culinary Team as a stand alone organization.
11. 2003 ACF awards --Junior Chef is now Student of the Year--- Dead line is December for next years awards.
