Chapter 1:The Beginning
The darkness enveloped the land. There wasn't anything to be heard except moaning day and night. Bob couldn't remember a time when the flesh eating undead didn't rule the land. They took his wife, his kids, even his best friends Joe and Martin. Instead of moaning, screams used to fill the air all the time. Bob could hardly sleep knowing that the undead were out in the world. He couldn't forget it, but he took most of the blame for the situation.

He took the only job he could get that brought home the most money and that job was being a scientists' lab partner. The scientist named Dr. Wright made Bob moil for his incredibly pointless experiments and sometimes just for laughs. The cruel scientist invented some really useless tools and machines that only made random numbers. All the other scientists laughed at him and made jokes about him and it made his ideas more and more violent until they just were just so crazy they seemed that they couldn't happen. But sometimes the impossible can be done.

When Bob went to work one day, Dr. Wright barged in and got right to work, leaving Bob speechless. Dr. Wright started to order Bob around until "it" was complete. The machine that made the dead come back to life...and Bob was the victim. Dr. Wright slowly started to creep up on Bob with a knife clutching in his hand when Bob turned around and disarmed Wright.
Whew, boot camp did come in handy, Bob thought gasping for breath.
"So you saw through my plan, slave?"
"I'm not your slave Denton! You shall be the bait for your own plan!"
Bob beat the scientist until he was dead and hurled Wright's corpse into the machine and turned it on. Crackling electricity emitted through Bob's ears.
"I must get out!" Bob said to himself.
The nightmare began.

When the smoke cleared, a dark figure walked out and stumbled over near Bob.
"Fleeessshhhh....."
Bob screamed, grabbed the knife, and ran back home. He was so shocked the only thing he could do was stand there, panting.
"Honey, what's wrong?"
"Nothing Amanda, just taking the day off."
"Did you ask your boss because if you get fired we will all starve."
"Don't tell the kids, but Wright is a zombie!"
A scream was heard through the open window. A car went through the wall and hit Amanda.
"AMANDA!"
Anger filled Bob as a zombie jumped out of the car and started to devour Amanda's crippled body.
NOBODY eats my wife and gets away with it!"

Zombie Wright looked up at Bob as blood dripped down his chin and smiled with blood stained teeth. Bob grabbed his knife and stabbed Zombie Wright in the head until he fell to the ground for the last time. Blood was everywhere. On the remains of Amanda, on Bob, on his knife, on the floor and walls. It blended in the the fire though. Amanada soon got up with a dazed look.
"AMANDA! YOU'RE ALIVE!"
She crawled up the stairs as Bob followed slowly. Children's screaming pierced his mind as he started running up the stairs. He went into the kid's room to find the same scene as the one downstairs. A pile of meat was in the cradle and Amanda was eating Bob Jr.

Bob screamed and went to get his shotgun. When he came back, the only contents was a blood stained baby blue wall with a bloddy pile of meat in a cradle. He went out trying to find his undead wife and his devoured son. A scream was heard from the house next door. Bob burst in, shotgun at hand. Blood gushed into his face as he blindly shot into the room, hitting an innocent person in the head. Blood was everywhere. When he wiped the blood off his face, 4 zombies were coming at him with the addition of Bob Jr. He shot the fastest one and one escaped to spread the virus. Bob didn't go after him because he was grieving over his lost sons and wife.

He ran away into the woods, running as fast as he possibly could. He tripped and fell into a small rabbit's hole. When he  got up he heard rumbling and took shelter into a nearby cave. He saw 4 cows being chased by what looked like a zobified cow. He thought he heard something eles breathing in the cave but he wasn't really sure what it was.
"Where are you hiding...?" Bob hardly heard in a quiet voice. "There you are. I found you."
Something scratched Bob's back as if scissors pierced him. Bob screamed. He ran out of the cave and checked his back. Blood. Bob turned around and found a zombie pop out of the cave as he shot it down. He stayed quiet, in case he made other zombies follow him. Moaning grew and sank.
They were coming.

"HUUUUUNNNNNNNGERRRRRRRR...."
"Flleesshhhhhhh..."
Screams
Those were the only sounds that Bob heard. He started to wonder around in search of survivors but he was turned down every time he found a good settlement. Blood was everywhere. He couldn't escape it. Nobody could. He always shot down the zombies that got in his way. He aimlessly wondered around trying to find somebody to fight beside. The darkness then came.

He wished he had brought a flashlight while he slowly stumbled upon a farm with light in the window. He saw shapes moving in the candlelight as he thought it might be some people who were not infected. He shot another zombie coming toward him. As he approached the house he saw another figure slowly approach the table and candle as the flame suddenly went out. Bob realized that he was out of ammo so he thought they might have some bullets and a bed to recover with. A zombie broke out the window and started clawing at his feet. He screamed and fell down. and blindly swung the gun around. BOOM! The shotguns handle was brought down on the zombies head.
"Well, I know that there are not any people in there...but I still need bullets. I'm going in"
He opened the door and took a step inside.
