Van(Ban) Flyhight The main character of the series, Van is always optomistic and has a positive view on life and humanity as a whole. His father was a great Zoid pilot, killed in action many years ago. Van wishes to follow in his fathers footsteps and become the greatest zoid pilot of all time. While he may come off as childish and immature at times, he seems to have a positive influence on everyone he meets. |

Zeke(Zeeg, Jeku) An Organoid, or Biological Zoid, Zeke has powers and abilities still not fully understood. He has the ability to merge with, and strengthen other zoids, making them much more powerfull. With Zekes Help, Van is able to pilot at an expert level very early in his piloting Career. The full extent of Zeke powers are unknown, but it is safe to assume that he has other abilities we have yet to see... Van considers him to be his best freind. |
Uh... Zeke IS a zoid... so he doesn't really pilot one. However, he fuses with the Sheild Liger and Blade Liger. |

Fiona(Feena) A Strange and mysterious young girl, she seems to have some connection with Zeke. Van considers her to be one of his best freinds, along with Zeke. Perhaps trhere is even a little more going on here... ^_~ |

Irvine A cold, rougish character. Typicly acts as if he doesn't care about anything. On the outside, at least. On the inside, he is actually a decent, fairly caring person. If you can get past that outside... Lol. Is an excellent Zoid pilot, relying on his own skill and abilities rather than any additional help from any organoid. Has saved Van and the others from danger many a time, and always seems to appear at just the right moment. |

Moonbay A Rough and tough girl of the wasteland, Moonbay can seemingly do anything... so long as there is a nice paycheck in it for her at the end. Mostly works as a Cargo Transport, teams up with the others after a job goes bad. Seems to be familiar with Irvine. |

| Raven Every hero needs an Arch-rival, and Van has his in the form of Raven, a cruel young man intent on fighting and killing as much as possible. Raven seems only to be truely happy in battle against a strong opponent, and is bored unless his adversay is strong and worthy. Considers Van to be a worthy adversary. |
Pilots a Sabre Tiger, then a Genosaurer, then a Geno Breaker. |

As a zoid, Shadow does not pilot any zoids, but merges with the Sabre Tiger, Genosaurer, and Geno Breaker. |

Rosso Leader of the Desert Alcovalido gang, Rosso is a former imperial soldior. At first sougt to take Zeke and rejoin the imperial army, but has since abondoned that goal. Now servers to protect the young Prince Rudolf, whom he veiws as a surrogate son or younger brother. |
Pilots first a Red Horn, then am Iron Kong, and now a Storm Sworder. Also has experience in a Redler and Molga. |

Viola Second in command of the Desert Acovalido gang, Viola has a strong love for her commander Rosso. Left her home in Icelina to become an Imperial soldior, but since left along with Rosso. Cares a great deal for the young Prince Rudolf, and will protect him as strongly as Rosso. |

Major Harmon Considered one of the Repiblican armies most importan and influential officers due to his position as the presidents son. Wishes simply to do his duty as a soldior to the best of his ability. Is an excellent pilot, and worthy of his reputation. |
