I Cried For The Flowers

I remember days gone by
When the little things would make you cry
Like the death of a pretty flower
Or the broken promise of an afternoon shower

I recall a time of the past
When love was thought of as unsurpassed
And there was always someone there
To share the things you could not share

Now-a-days there are no tears
We've developed hardness over the years
And being a kid is looked down on
Because acting your age is always frowned on

Just because I look older
Doesn't mean I'm any colder
To cry the tears of drops of dew
Is to cry tears that are pure and true

You see, it's not the memories
As much as the things I've fogot
I wish to cry for all the flower
And find the innocence that I've lost...

So sweet but so young
To lead a life that hasn't begun
Waving hair in the breeze
To the people you meet you look so pleased
What's the secrect that you hid
Smiling as if life is complete
Saddness reaches out and through
Nothing seems to stop you
Please tell me where you go to
Everything while resting down
A place where all hopes are kept
No tears of unhappiness
Pictures of life that's meant to be
And colors that are keeping me
This place that speaks your name
Keep it forever in your mind
At a glance, never change
Always remain the same
This person who has no real place
Reaches out and sings a song
Even while tears run down her face
A tune of perfect happiness
A comfort to a soul in need
A shout that is but a whisper to me
A warning, but it warns in vain
I must relive this dismal life
And make the mistakes that are ment to be made
Please never go away...

Banana

As I gaze at the yellow-y yellowness
And peel this lovely fruit
I bet that you could probably guess
He calls me a stupid spoot

My mind wanders as I take in the fact
That a fruit just insulted me
So I yell at him to take it back
For there's no one as spooty as he

He goes on to say that what I said
Hurt down to his bananaish core
But I didn't care and I wanted him dead
So off his head I tore

Banana, you were good to the end
You were brave and true
You just weren't good as a friend
So that's why I ate you...
